HTX Plow

Often, yes — the HTX is Boss's plow line built for half-ton pickups like the F-150, Silverado 1500 and Ram 1500. Not every half-ton is approved for plowing by its manufacturer, so we check your exact truck and its front axle rating first.

We carry HTX V-plows in 7'6" and 8' and straight blades in 7' and 7'6". The V-plow gives you V, scoop and straight positions for driveways and tight lots; the straight blade is lighter and simpler, and it's the HTX version that can be ordered with D-Force down pressure.

The HTX uses Boss's 13-pin electrical system with SL3 LED headlights, not the newer Cold Front system on the full-size plows. We'll make sure the harness on your truck matches.

The HTX uses its own HTX undercarriage rather than the RT3 mount most full-size Boss plows share, so a half-ton HTX setup and a 3/4-ton setup aren't interchangeable. If a bigger truck is in your future, tell us and we'll plan around it.

Complete Boss plows and spreaders carry Boss's 2-year limited warranty covering parts and labor from the date of purchase. Separately purchased parts and accessories are covered for 1 year, parts only. The warranty applies to the original buyer from an authorized dealer like us and doesn't transfer to a later owner — one more reason to buy new from a dealer.
